Carl will deliver the necessary content to achieve the qualification utilising his extensive experience as an assessor and an IQA within a variety of training providers and as an EQA, Lead EQA and Quality Assurance Director with an Awarding Organisation (AO), sharing good practice and using real life experiences to help you to relate the qualification.

The pre-recorded webinars will be broken down into 4 bite sized sessions and you will be tasked with completing small activities prior to the following session, to complete your written assessment as you go. You will have access to 4 pre-recorded webinars that will last approximately two hours. On these webinars Carl will take you through the learning outcomes of the IQA knowledge qualification, using real life experiences to help you relate what is being delivered to the role of an IQA. Carl will also share good practice and will provide tips on becoming an IQAFollowing each webinar, you will be tasked with completing the relevant questions of the written assessment (worksheet) that directly related to the content of that webinar, therefore following the fourth webinar you should be in a position to submit your assessment. This is a great way of completing the assessment, as the content is still fresh in your mind and there will be no temptation to put it off until tomorrow/next week/next month etc… like other modes of delivery.

The AO for this qualification is Qualifications Network (www.qualifications-network.co.uk).

Will the QNUK Level 4 Award in Understanding the Internal Quality Assurance of Assessment Processes and Practice, qualify me to become an IQA?

How is the IQA knowledge qualification assessed?

You will be required to complete a written assessment in the form of a worksheet. Once you have completed all of the worksheet, then you will be required to submit this to CBC&T for assessment. The pass mark for the worksheet is 100% and on achievement of this, your worksheet may be subject to internal quality assurance.

If I choose the non-qualification option and then further down the line I decide that I would like to achieve the IQA knowledge qualification, can I do this?
